fideprep.ch is an independent exam-practice help site that offers study materials, mock exams, and skill-building tools to help users prepare for language exams commonly required in Switzerland (including CEFR A1–B1). fideprep.ch is not an official testing center and does not issue certificates.
By accessing or using fideprep.ch, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM), the fide program, any cantonal authority, or any official exam provider. Our materials are for learning and practice only.
These Terms are provided in English for clarity. If we provide translations, the English version prevails in case of conflict.
You may not share your Account or permit others to access the Service using your credentials.
We may suspend or terminate any Account that violates these Terms or applicable law.
AI and automated features may generate outputs that are incomplete or inaccurate. Use your own judgment and verify critical information.
Our materials are for practice and guidance only. We do not administer official exams and we do not issue official results or certificates.
We make no guarantee that you will pass any exam. Your outcomes depend on your efforts, background, exam conditions, and factors beyond our control.
Examples, sample answers, scores, or success stories are illustrative and do not promise or imply specific results.
Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes. We may change prices prospectively.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term unless you cancel from your Account settings before renewal. After cancellation, you retain access until the end of the paid term.
Trials or promotional offers are subject to their stated terms and may convert to paid plans unless canceled before the trial ends.
Except where required by applicable consumer law or expressly stated otherwise at checkout, fees are non-refundable. If a statutory right of withdrawal applies, it may be waived once you start using digital content/functions immediately upon purchase.
We may suspend access for failed or reversed payments. You remain responsible for any unpaid amounts.
All Content and Service components (including practice items, explanations, software, design, and trademarks) are owned by fideprep.ch or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal learning during your subscription or access period.
You must not copy, adapt, translate, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit the Content except as permitted for personal study.
You are responsible for your User Content and must ensure you have all necessary rights and permissions.
By submitting User Content, you grant fideprep.ch a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, display, and use the User Content solely to operate and improve the Service. Where we request your consent for certain features (e.g., voice recordings used to improve models), you can decline without losing core functionality.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.
For personal data processed through fideprep.ch, the data controller is the operator named above in Switzerland.
We handle personal data in accordance with applicable Swiss data protection law (including the revised Federal Act on Data Protection, 'FADP') and, where applicable, the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation ('GDPR').

To the maximum extent permitted by law, fideprep.ch and its affiliates, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities. Our aggregate liability for direct damages shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law (e.g., fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless fideprep.ch and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
You may stop using the Service at any time and, for subscriptions, cancel renewal in your Account settings.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or applicable law, or if we discontinue the Service.
Upon termination, your license ends and you must stop using the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email.
Changes take effect on the stated effective date. Your continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you should stop using the Service and, if applicable, cancel your subscription.
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Subject to mandatory consumer protection rules, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our rights.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms shown at checkout, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
